Coffee Culture Around The Globe

The coffee culture has in the past been highly associated with the US, especially if you consider the number of Starbucks stores that are popping up, almost in each and every possible area. However, this trend is fast catching root in the Asian nations, and a lot of people have taken to java drinking. One of the most recent findings is that there are a lot of java joints that are surprisingly coming up in the Asian nations.

As a matter of fact, Starbucks are reported to have lined up 35 stores to cater for the needs of coffee lovers in Asia. There is no problem as such with Asians taking to coffee, the only amazement is that this continent has always been a tea continent therefore the coffee wave is more or less a surprise to many people.

Most of the Asian dwellers today spend a lot on the coffee blends, just in the same manner that the users in the US use their coffee. Apart from this, the social function of the coffee joint has also nailed the Asian communities, since they usually find themselves and their friends out at coffee joints having fun.

As a matter of fact, it has also been revealed that the Asian brew is much sweeter and lighter than the same in the US. In fact, most Asians are flocking cafes for cappuccinos and mochas.

Apart from this, more than half of the brew drinking population of Asia professes to loving their brew from chain retailers other than the independent cafes, another contrast to the US markets. In fact, close to 60% of java users in Asia reportedly take their coffee from Starbucks.

The reception here is quite the opposite of what the company received in the likes of Australia. The professionals who have spent some of their time studying in Europe are especially recognized as the champions to this trend.
